Dear Friends
As Centenary United Methodist Church looks into its
third century as the mother Church of Lynchburg,
I am proud to be its Pastor.
Centenary is unique; we are located in a transitional
neighborhood which allows us to minister to the needs of
both the rich and poor, the humble and proud, the
self-sufficient and needy, and to the devout and
non-believers. By His Spirit we have many opportunities
to make significant positive contributions, contributions
for change. We are placed here to receive God’s gifts of
grace upon grace, for our members and for our neighbors.
Yet first, Centenary is His Church.
Come and be a part of His blessings. Come be a part of
serving our Lord Jesus Christ, in and through our humble
United Methodist Church!
We are over two-hundred years old,
but we have just begun!
